Spring has sprung at the barn!

Myself, Michelle, Bex and Sanna have all been busy getting ready for Spring at the barn and we have some baa-tastic things lined up April…so we’re SO excited it’s finally here so we can share it with ewe lovely lot!

Michelle and I have done two Spring lifestyle shoots over the past few weeks which feature all of our new products which we can’t wait for you to see! The first photo shoot was at Michelle’s house where I had a practice with the camera, lighting and equipment ready for our main shoot in the stunning Number 18 B&B in Conwy!

While Sanna and Bex have been working hard in the workshop developing new Spring products, making and sending out all of the orders to you lovely lot and of course making products for our latest photo shoots.

Spring Photo Shoot: Our visit to Number 18

Image from: Number 18 B&B

We we’re trying to think of the perfect location to shoot some of our spring sheepskin colourways…when we came across the ideal location – a boutique B&B in Conwy called Number 18 Conwy …a funky and stunning location right on our doorstep in the centre of the gorgeous seaside town. It’s been recommended as a potential photo shoot venue by so many people we just had to go and see for ourselves and WOW – we were bowled over.

Melissa and her husband have a passion for eclectic design incorporating colour, antique furniture, retro styles and much more… Each room is individually decorated rooms with bags of character and plenty to make you smile. In other words…perfect for a Baa Stool shoot!

We’ve made so many new products over the last few months we thought it was about time for another big location shoot. Melissa kindly agreed to let us go back to Number 18 Conwy at the end of last month with a van load of products, a camera and a lighting rig – our very first shoot without a professional photographer! We loved shooting there, our sheepskin loveliness complimented the ba-tastic decor beautifully…and we thought we’d give you a sneak peak of some of the images!

If you’re looking to come over to North Wales for a weekend away, we would highly recommend Number 18 for somewhere funky and different to stay that’s in the perfect location!

Baa Star of the Week

…one of the baa-tastic things that we have been planning – you’re going to love it!

Each week, starting from Monday 15th April, we will select a handful of our products which have been recent ‘Baa Stars’. What is a ‘Baa Star’ you ask? Well, a Baa Star will be products that may have been at a recent photo shoot, featured in a magazine, a new flock member or has proven popular with ewe lovely lot. All of these recent Baa Stars will be entered in our draw for the chance to be the weeks Baa Star.

We will then randomly select our Baa Star of the Week and announce it on our Facebook and Instagram page and you will be able to get 10% off that product for the whole week!

Stunning Spring Sheepskin Colourways

Spring is finally here, hurrah! It’s that time of year to have a bit of a de-clutter and tidy in your house…so that you can make room for some stunning colourful sheepskin to brighten up your rooms. The Spring 2019 decor trend is still quite minimal, with natural and layered textiles and materials being at the focus but with more colour. Mustard yellows, dusky and coral pinks as well as soft greens are some of the most popular choices this season, so I’ve put together a little guide of some of our favourite Spring sheepskin colours and products to add to your home…

Sage

This year pastel greens are going to over take dark greens in popularity and have a big moment – so make sure you get to know our gorgeous soft Sage green.

If you love neutral tones, then this colourway is the perfect option for you as it is a great way to subtly add some colour and brighten up a room

Lilac pairs beautifully with so many colours, like the most popular colourway in interiors…grey! So whether you add a doorstop or a footstool to your grey living room it’s guaranteed to look baa-eautiful!

So many of you have been in touch asking for a Dusky Pink Beauty Stool which we weren’t able to offer as the Dusky Pink Sheepskin wasn’t wide enough…but the lovely Workshop Supervisor Sanna has been working hard to find a way to develop a Dusky Pink Beauty Cover… and we’re so excited that she has!

…and no, this is not an April fools!

Silver

We just can’t get enough of Silver, and with it being one of our most popular colourways it looks like ewe lot can’t either!

New members of the flock…

We’ve been busy developing new products for the next few months – and we’re excited to finally announce April’s new members!

1.Star Sheepskin Rugs

Star Rugs

We are SO excited to finally be able to share these stunning Sheepskin Star Rugs with you!

Sheepskin Rugs are one of our most popular products as they’re so versatile. You can use it as a rug in the centre of a room, underneath a footstool by an armchair, in front of a fire place – the ultimate place for pets to curl up and relax (they like to steal sheepskin!)

They can also be used to drape over a sofa or even a bed – to add that extra comfort and interest to your favourite furniture pieces.

Because our Sheepskin Rugs are so popular with you lovely lot, we thought how could we make some completely unique rugs that are guaranteed to give the WOW factor? Well, Sanna has been working hard in the workshop over the last few months to develop and perfecting a flocking fabulous Sheepskin Star Rug by sewing pieces together…and this is the result!

You can find out the full product information including sizes and colourways on the link below

2.Sheepskin Letters

Something we can’t get enough are gallery walls! Gallery walls are a flocking fabulous way to fill a blank wall – whether you’re looking to add one in a hallway or have it as a main feature in a room, they’re the ultimate stylish design trend that have truly stood the test of time.

There’s so many ways to take on the gallery trend – a look we love is having a mix and match wall. A mix of prints, ceramic plates, mirrors, and yes that’s right…even sheepskin!

These gorgeous images were taken with one of our Judy Baa Stools in Baby Pink by Little Big Bell .

For any of you that haven’t seen her Instagram, it’s well worth a look! Every room in her house seems to have a gallery wall featured in and they are beyond stunning

…we love gallery walls so much that we decided to make our own addition to the trend….Sheepskin Letters!

Sheepskin Letters

Our giant sheepskin letters can be hung on the wall, propped against a wall, used as part of a gallery wall or even be used as decoration at a wedding – they look baa-mazing wherever they are!

We can make them in a whole range of colourways – we can’t wait to make a B and two A’s and have BAA up in our office!

3.Tuffets

Tuffets

If you’re a fan of our Sheepskin Pouffes then you’re going to love our new Tuffets!

These Tuffets are a new member of the footstool flock – available in three metal splayed leg styles: chrome, copper and gold – they’re proving to be a flock favourite!

Thank ewe from Team Baa!

A big thank ewe to all of you lovely lot that visited the flock last month at our Mother’s Day Shopping Event – it was baa-mazing to see you all!

The Little Sheeper Shop is open Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm (excluding bank holidays) where we’ll have lots of members of the flock to meet – and if we don’t have the product or colourway you’re looking for, we can make it for you to collect in 1- 2 days.
