A Whole Lot of Woolly Comfort
There’s something rather wonderful about coming home, closing the door on the chilly world outside and sinking into the comfort of natural sheepskin.
Our Large Double Ivory British Sheepskin Rugs are made for exactly those moments.
Generously proportioned, gloriously thick and beautifully natural, these substantial rugs bring an irresistible sense of warmth and comfort to your home.
Made from genuine British sheepskin, each double rug has a wonderfully deep, dense wool pile, with individual fibres measuring approximately 8cm or more. This is sheepskin with real character — longer, fuller and a little more rugged than our finer, silkier varieties.
And that’s precisely what makes it so special.
Beautifully Rustic, Naturally Luxurious
Our natural Ivory is a soft, warm off-white with delicate creamy undertones. Undyed and beautifully understated, it brings a gentle lightness to a room without feeling stark or overly bright.
The longer wool creates a wonderfully relaxed, slightly tousled appearance, with a richness and depth that invites you to reach out and run your fingers through it.
These aren’t delicate little sheepskins. They’re substantial, robust and full of natural character, with a comforting weight and thickness that makes them particularly appealing during the colder months.
Think cosy winter mornings, quiet evenings beside the fire and that glorious feeling of slipping your feet onto warm sheepskin instead of a cold floor.
Twice the Sheepskin, Twice the Comfort
Measuring at least 200cm long and 70cm at their widest point, these impressive double rugs offer a wonderfully generous expanse of natural wool.
Drape one along the end of your bed for an inviting, layered look, arrange it across a favourite sofa or bench, or lay it beside your bed for the loveliest welcome to chilly mornings.
Their generous length also makes them a beautiful addition to a reading nook, a fireside corner or anywhere that could do with a little extra warmth and texture.
And while they look particularly magical amongst winter greenery, twinkling fairy lights and festive decorations, their timeless natural colour makes them equally beautiful throughout the year.
Naturally Individual
Every British sheepskin is unique, with its own natural variations in wool length, density, texture and shape.
That’s part of the beauty of choosing a natural material. Rather than being perfectly uniform, each rug has its own wonderfully woolly personality.
The longer, deeper pile gives these British sheepskins their distinctive rustic appearance, making them especially suited to homes that celebrate natural textures, relaxed interiors and beautifully made materials.

We understand how important it is to keep your lovely sheepskin looking baamazing..so we’ve created a list of tips and tricks on how to do just that!
We source the highest quality grade sheepskin predominantly from flocks across the UK and New Zealand where animal welfare standards are among the highest in the world. Sheep are not bred for their skins and sheepskin is a by product of the food industry.

Why Baa Stool?
In 2011 I left the corporate world, moved home to rural North Wales and retrained to be an upholsterer. Two years in, during a tea break from a particularly challenging chair, I was looking at the sheep in the fields surrounding my workshop and mused ‘they look like little footstools. Hmmmmmm…sheepskin covered footstools. Oh yes!’
I spent several months developing the idea and ensuring that every detail of the product is high quality. The frames and legs are made by skilled craftsmen. The sheepskin is always premium grade and predominantly from UK flocks. I source the best upholstery materials and we upholster each Baa Stool using a mix of modern and traditional methods. This is important because I want my customers to enjoy a product that is the very best it can possibly be.
Around this exciting product a group of talented, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals gathered to form ‘Team Baa’ and a Great Little British Business was born.
I started selling Baa Stools at local artisan markets and county shows and they quickly developed a following. I noticed that the sheepskin cover upholstered on the footstools made people stop in their tracks, look closer…then, inevitably, smile. This quickly became the overall aim of every new design… to make people smile when they walk into a room.
