Why choose a Cosy Creature?

Our Cosy Creatures are the playful side of the Baa Stool workshop. From Highland Cow pouffes and hedgehog doorstops to owls, parrots, penguins, flamingos, bears and pandas, these are soft, useful pieces made to bring warmth, humour and personality into the home.

Handmade in our North Wales workshop, each one is created from beautiful natural sheepskin and carefully chosen offcuts. They may have faces, feathers, paws or horns, but they are still proper Baa Stool pieces – tactile, characterful and made with the same care as the rest of our collection.

Handmade, useful and full of personality

This is what makes them so lovely. They are fun, certainly, but they are also practical pieces to live with every day: doorstops that hold their ground, pouffes that make a room smile, cushions that brighten a sofa and wall hangings that bring a little extra charm to a corner.

Because many of our Cosy Creatures are made in small batches, no two are exactly alike. Natural markings, curls, colours and textures all add to their individual character, giving every creature its own expression, mood and little bit of workshop mischief.
