Regular: filled with natural sheepskin off-cuts for a firm yet plush feel.
Large & XL: feature beanbag-style filling for extra squish.
Finished with a tonal wool mix fabric base and a complimentary sheepskin brush.

Because sheepskin is natural, each piece varies slightly in shade, texture and length.
Measurements are approximate.
Free colour samples are available before ordering.
Dyed colours should be kept out of strong sunlight.
Natural Ivory, Rare Breed and Chocolate will not fade.
Boucle Style sheepskin will measure 5cm less all around as the wool pile is much shorter.

We have tried our best to offer a good selection of shapes and sizes of pouffes but if you need a specific size please let us know and we’ll do our best to help.
We source the highest quality grade sheepskin predominantly from flocks across the UK. Where we are unable to source a specific colour within the UK we import sheepskin from New Zealand. Sheep are not farmed for their skins and sheepskin is a by-product of the food industry.
We use the highest quality upholstery materials to create supportive and comfortable furniture in our workshop in North Wales, UK.

Why Baa Stool?
In 2011 I left the corporate world, moved home to rural North Wales and retrained to be an upholsterer. Two years in, during a tea break from a particularly challenging chair, I was looking at the sheep in the fields surrounding my workshop and mused ‘they look like little footstools. Hmmmmmm…sheepskin covered footstools. Oh yes!’
I spent several months developing the idea and ensuring that every detail of the product is high quality. The frames and legs are made by skilled craftsmen. The sheepskin is always premium grade and predominantly from UK flocks. I source the best upholstery materials and we upholster each Baa Stool using a mix of modern and traditional methods. This is important because I want my customers to enjoy a product that is the very best it can possibly be.
Around this exciting product a group of talented, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals gathered to form ‘Team Baa’ and a Great Little British Business was born.
I started selling Baa Stools at local artisan markets and county shows and they quickly developed a following. I noticed that the sheepskin cover upholstered on the footstools made people stop in their tracks, look closer…then, inevitably, smile. This quickly became the overall aim of every new design… to make people smile when they walk into a room.

Ordered the small pouffe. Service was fairly quick and colour was beautiful, however pouffe is fairly mishaped at the top and lop sided. I am hoping it’ll settle in time but for the price paid would not expect to see this.

I ordered a rare breed pouffe which I was rather disappointed with. I couldn’t get it to lie flat, and even though it was made from one rare-breed sheepskin, I felt that the colouring on the top and sides didn’t match well.
However the folk at Baa Stool were very quick to address my concerns: they offered several very reasonable resolutions including a free return and full refund. Can’t say fairer than that.
