For Dressing Table Stools & Large Footstools
Important – Please Measure Your Stool
As all covers are made to order, it is essential to measure the base of your stool before purchasing to ensure you select the correct size. You can also scroll the images to identify your stool.
Give your stool a fresh new look with one of our beautifully crafted Replacement Sheepskin Stool Covers. Whether you’re redecorating, refreshing a well-loved piece, or simply fancy a change of colour, swapping the cover is an easy way to transform the look of your Baa Stool.
Each cover is handmade in our North Wales workshop using premium sheepskin in a choice of 30+ colours and textures, allowing you to update your stool to suit a new interior scheme or seasonal style.
Our covers are carefully tailored rather than elasticated, ensuring a neat and secure fit on Baa Stool designs. Because of this tailored construction they are unlikely to fit other stools, so it’s important to check your measurements before ordering.
This replacement cover is designed to fit Baa Stool Dressing Table Stools and larger footstool styles, where the base measures 42.5cm x 37.5cm underneath the seat.
If you’re looking for a cover for a stool that isn’t a Baa Stool, we make bespoke sheepskin stool covers to your dimensions – just get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Boucle and Style sheepskin will measure 5cm less all around as the wool pile is much shorter.
As sheepskin is a natural product the wool on each of our sheepskin products is unique and can differ in shade, texture and length. That's why we specify that our measurements are approximate and offer free colour samples.
Please keep the dyed colours out of strong sunlight as it may bleach and dry out the skin. The natural colours of Ivory, Rare Breed and Chocolate will not be affected by strong sunlight.

How to assemble your Baa Stool
We use the highest quality upholstery materials to create supportive and comfortable furniture in our workshop in North Wales, UK.
Are you a feet up relaxer? Or do you like to put your feet down? Find the right height stool for you using our handy GUIDE.
We source the highest quality grade sheepskin predominantly from flocks across the UK. Where we are unable to source a specific colour within the UK we import sheepskin from New Zealand. Sheep are not farmed for their skins and sheepskin is a by-product of the food industry.
Rare breed sheepskin is wonderfully expressive. Each piece has its own natural character, with variations in wool length, texture, curl and colour that make every creation entirely unique.
Tones range from soft creams and warm ivories through to rich browns and deep chocolate shades, often with subtle variation across a single fleece. Some pieces are long and flowing, others more textured and sculptural — all naturally occurring and impossible to replicate.
This natural diversity is exactly what gives rare breed pieces their depth, movement and individuality.

1 review for Replacement Sheepskin Cover For Dressing Table Stools and Bobbi, Oak and Grace Footstools.
Why Baa Stool?

In 2011 I left the corporate world, moved home to rural North Wales and retrained to be an upholsterer. Two years in, during a tea break from a particularly challenging chair, I was looking at the sheep in the fields surrounding my workshop and mused ‘they look like little footstools. Hmmmmmm…sheepskin covered footstools. Oh yes!’
I spent several months developing the idea and ensuring that every detail of the product is high quality. The frames and legs are made by skilled craftsmen. The sheepskin is always premium grade and predominantly from UK flocks. I source the best upholstery materials and we upholster each Baa Stool using a mix of modern and traditional methods. This is important because I want my customers to enjoy a product that is the very best it can possibly be.
Around this exciting product a group of talented, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals gathered to form 'Team Baa' and a Great Little British Business was born.
I started selling Baa Stools at local artisan markets and county shows and they quickly developed a following. I noticed that the sheepskin cover upholstered on the footstools made people stop in their tracks, look closer…then, inevitably, smile. This quickly became the overall aim of every new design… to make people smile when they walk into a room.
