Meet our Christmas Pudding Sheepskin Pouffe, a deliciously indulgent little footstool with all the charm of a traditional Christmas pudding and none of the calories!
Lovingly handcrafted in our North Wales workshop, this festive favourite is made from beautifully soft, rich Chocolate British sheepskin, generously topped with curly Ivory wool that tumbles down the sides like freshly poured brandy sauce.
A sprig of hand-cut green leather holly leaves and three plump red felted berries complete the look. No raisins, no brandy, just beautiful British sheepskin and a little Baa Stool magic!

Our regular Christmas Pudding Pouffe is generously stuffed entirely with sheepskin trimmings from our North Wales workshop, giving it a satisfyingly substantial feel while making good use of our leftover materials.
The result is a beautifully soft, supportive little footstool that’s as thoughtfully made on the inside as it is on the outside.

Every Christmas Pudding Pouffe is individually handmade by our talented flock at Baa Stool, using genuine British sheepskin and plenty of care and attention.
The natural character of the wool means that every pudding is slightly different, making each one a little festive original.
With his rich Chocolate sheepskin, creamy Ivory topping and cheerful holly decoration, he’s a wonderfully unusual Christmas gift and a festive favourite you’ll look forward to bringing out year after year.

Boucle and Style sheepskin will measure 5cm less all around as the wool pile is much shorter.
As sheepskin is a natural product the wool on each of our sheepskin products is unique and can differ in shade, texture and length. That’s why we specify that our measurements are approximate and offer free colour samples.
Please keep the dyed colours out of strong sunlight as it may bleach and dry out the skin. The natural colours of Ivory, Rare Breed and Chocolate will not be affected by strong sunlight.

How to assemble your Baa Stool
We use the highest quality upholstery materials to create supportive and comfortable furniture in our workshop in North Wales, UK.
Are you a feet up relaxer? Or do you like to put your feet down? Find the right height stool for you using our handy GUIDE.
We source the highest quality grade sheepskin predominantly from flocks across the UK. Where we are unable to source a specific colour within the UK we import sheepskin from New Zealand. Sheep are not farmed for their skins and sheepskin is a by-product of the food industry.
Rare breed sheepskin is wonderfully expressive. Each piece has its own natural character, with variations in wool length, texture, curl and colour that make every creation entirely unique.
Tones range from soft creams and warm ivories through to rich browns and deep chocolate shades, often with subtle variation across a single fleece. Some pieces are long and flowing, others more textured and sculptural — all naturally occurring and impossible to replicate.
This natural diversity is exactly what gives rare breed pieces their depth, movement and individuality.

Why Baa Stool?
In 2011 I left the corporate world, moved home to rural North Wales and retrained to be an upholsterer. Two years in, during a tea break from a particularly challenging chair, I was looking at the sheep in the fields surrounding my workshop and mused ‘they look like little footstools. Hmmmmmm…sheepskin covered footstools. Oh yes!’
I spent several months developing the idea and ensuring that every detail of the product is high quality. The frames and legs are made by skilled craftsmen. The sheepskin is always premium grade and predominantly from UK flocks. I source the best upholstery materials and we upholster each Baa Stool using a mix of modern and traditional methods. This is important because I want my customers to enjoy a product that is the very best it can possibly be.
Around this exciting product a group of talented, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals gathered to form ‘Team Baa’ and a Great Little British Business was born.
I started selling Baa Stools at local artisan markets and county shows and they quickly developed a following. I noticed that the sheepskin cover upholstered on the footstools made people stop in their tracks, look closer…then, inevitably, smile. This quickly became the overall aim of every new design… to make people smile when they walk into a room.
