Our Yeti Sheepskin Rugs are wonderfully wild and full of character. With long, naturally curly wool, they bring dramatic texture, softness and movement to any room.

Yeti Sheepskin Rugs

Our Yeti Sheepskin Rugs are all about texture, movement and natural character. Premium New Zealand sheepskin sourced from strong wool breeds, the fleece is left naturally curly rather than being ironed straight like traditional sheepskin. The result is a wonderfully wild, shaggy look that instantly adds depth and personality to an interior.

The long crimped wool creates beautiful movement across the surface of the rug, giving it a relaxed, slightly untamed appearance — rather like the coat of a mythical yeti. It’s a striking texture that works particularly well in modern interiors where softness and tactile materials help balance clean lines and structured furniture.

Despite its dramatic appearance, Yeti sheepskin is robust and practical, making it ideal for styling across floors, benches, chairs or beds. Whether used as a cosy throw, a luxurious floor rug or a statement accent piece, it brings warmth and texture to any space.

Choose your shade

Our Yeti sheepskin rugs are available in three beautiful tones:

Off White Yeti – New Zealand Sheepskin
A delicate light ivory with a beautifully natural tone. Understated, elegant and effortlessly versatile.

Eggshell Yeti – New Zealand Sheepskin
A soft, warm cream with subtle golden undertones, reminiscent of fresh eggshells and morning sunlight. Cosy, natural and effortlessly elegant.

Fossil Yeti – New Zealand Sheepskin
A beautifully balanced blend of grey and dark beige, offering effortless warmth and natural elegance.

Caring for Yeti Sheepskin

Yeti wool is naturally curly and should not be brushed, as brushing can straighten the fibres and change the texture.

To refresh the rug simply shake it vigorously to restore the natural pile and movement of the wool.

Why Baa Stool?

Baa Stool Meet The Team

In 2011 I left the corporate world, moved home to rural North Wales and retrained to be an upholsterer.  Two years in, during a tea break from a particularly challenging chair, I was looking at the sheep in the fields surrounding my workshop and mused ‘they look like little footstools. Hmmmmmm…sheepskin covered footstools. Oh yes!’

I spent several months developing the idea and ensuring that every detail of the product is high quality.  The frames and legs are made by skilled craftsmen.  The sheepskin is always premium grade and predominantly from UK flocks.  I source the best upholstery materials and we upholster each Baa Stool using a mix of modern and traditional methods.  This is important because I want my customers to enjoy a product that is the very best it can possibly be.

Around this exciting product a group of talented, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals gathered to form ‘Team Baa’ and a Great Little British Business was born.

I started selling Baa Stools at local artisan markets and county shows and they quickly developed a following. I noticed that the sheepskin cover upholstered on the footstools made people stop in their tracks, look closer…then, inevitably, smile. This quickly became the overall aim of every new design… to make people smile when they walk into a room.
