A glorious riot of long, shaggy natural sheepskin in rich dark chocolate, with beautiful caramel tones catching the tips of the wool. This one-of-a-kind Cookie Pouffe is full of natural character, with a wonderfully strong, textured fleece that’s as hardwearing as it is luxurious.
Handmade in our North Wales workshop, our generously proportioned Cookie is filled with sheepskin offcuts for a wonderfully soft, yielding feel. At approximately a metre across, there’s plenty of room to curl up, stretch out or simply put your feet up.
One Cookie, lots of possibilities.
Use it as an oversized floor cushion for lazy afternoons, a generously sized footstool or a seriously luxurious dog bed for the most pampered member of the family. You could even pop a Perspex tray on top and turn it into a rather fabulous low coffee table.
Underneath, a natural wool-mix fabric base has a concealed zip, thoughtfully designed to protect your floors.
And because we like to look after our flock, we’ll include a complimentary sheepskin brush to help keep your Cookie looking its best.
A true one-off. This Cookie is made from naturally coloured sheepskin, so its gorgeous chocolate and caramel tones are entirely individual. The photographs show the exact pouffe you’ll receive.

Natural sheepskin has its own unique character, and the variations in colour and wool texture are part of its charm. This Cookie is made from naturally coloured sheepskin, with beautiful tones ranging from deep chocolate to lighter caramel.
Filled with sheepskin offcuts rather than a rigid structure, your Cookie has a wonderfully relaxed, yielding feel.
A gentle brush with the complimentary sheepskin brush will help keep the long wool looking lovely.
Styling Notes
Deep chocolate sheepskin looks particularly lovely alongside natural oak, warm stone, linen and earthy neutrals.
Its generous proportions make it a fabulous statement piece in a living room, snug or garden room, bringing warmth and texture to a space without overwhelming it.
Equally at home in traditional or contemporary interiors, this Cookie invites you to kick off your shoes and make yourself comfortable.
Boucle and Style sheepskin will measure 5cm less all around as the wool pile is much shorter.
As sheepskin is a natural product the wool on each of our sheepskin products is unique and can differ in shade, texture and length. That’s why we specify that our measurements are approximate and offer free colour samples.
Please keep the dyed colours out of strong sunlight as it may bleach and dry out the skin. The natural colours of Ivory, Rare Breed and Chocolate will not be affected by strong sunlight.

How to assemble your Baa Stool
We use the highest quality upholstery materials to create supportive and comfortable furniture in our workshop in North Wales, UK.

We source the highest quality grade sheepskin predominantly from flocks across the UK. Where we are unable to source a specific colour within the UK we import sheepskin from New Zealand. Sheep are not farmed for their skins and sheepskin is a by-product of the food industry.
Rare breed sheepskin is wonderfully expressive. Each piece has its own natural character, with variations in wool length, texture, curl and colour that make every creation entirely unique.
Tones range from soft creams and warm ivories through to rich browns and deep chocolate shades, often with subtle variation across a single fleece. Some pieces are long and flowing, others more textured and sculptural — all naturally occurring and impossible to replicate.
This natural diversity is exactly what gives rare breed pieces their depth, movement and individuality.

Why Baa Stool?
In 2011 I left the corporate world, moved home to rural North Wales and retrained to be an upholsterer. Two years in, during a tea break from a particularly challenging chair, I was looking at the sheep in the fields surrounding my workshop and mused ‘they look like little footstools. Hmmmmmm…sheepskin covered footstools. Oh yes!’
I spent several months developing the idea and ensuring that every detail of the product is high quality. The frames and legs are made by skilled craftsmen. The sheepskin is always premium grade and predominantly from UK flocks. I source the best upholstery materials and we upholster each Baa Stool using a mix of modern and traditional methods. This is important because I want my customers to enjoy a product that is the very best it can possibly be.
Around this exciting product a group of talented, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals gathered to form ‘Team Baa’ and a Great Little British Business was born.
I started selling Baa Stools at local artisan markets and county shows and they quickly developed a following. I noticed that the sheepskin cover upholstered on the footstools made people stop in their tracks, look closer…then, inevitably, smile. This quickly became the overall aim of every new design… to make people smile when they walk into a room.
