A one-off pair of decorative pillow shams made from silky Linwood patterned velvet in golden cream and finished with a generous Seashell sheepskin trim.

A beautifully luxurious pair of decorative pillow shams, designed to bring softness, texture and a little extra grandeur to a large bed.

The fronts are made from a super soft and silky Linwood patterned velvet in warm golden cream tones. Each sham is framed with a generous frill of matching Seashell sheepskin, creating a wonderfully tactile border around the pretty patterned velvet.

Invisible zips keep the finish neat and discreet, so all you see is the beautiful velvet and soft sheepskin. Each sham has been made to accommodate a standard UK pillow, making them easy to fill and style at home.

Measuring approximately 85cm x 60cm including the wool trim, they are generously sized and look particularly lovely arranged against the headboard of a king size or super king bed.

This is a completely one-off pair, handmade in our North Wales workshop.

Good to know

These are decorative pillow shams rather than sleeping pillows and are designed to be placed over standard UK pillow inserts.

Natural sheepskin varies slightly in wool length, texture and tone. These variations are part of the beauty and character of the finished pair.

Styling notes

Place the shams at the front of a layered pillow arrangement to create a soft and luxurious focal point.

Their warm golden cream tones work beautifully with natural linen, oatmeal, ivory, soft pink, chocolate brown and other gentle neutral shades.

They would look especially lovely on a king size or super king bed, where their generous proportions can be properly appreciated.

We source the highest quality grade sheepskin predominantly from flocks across the UK.  Where we are unable to source a specific colour within the UK we import sheepskin from New Zealand.  Sheep are not farmed for their skins and sheepskin is a by-product of the food industry.

Some of our stools require very basic assembly. We have a fully dedicated page to guide you on how to assemble your Baa Stool.  Click on the link below to view our full guide.

Why Baa Stool?

Baa Stool Meet The Team

In 2011 I left the corporate world, moved home to rural North Wales and retrained to be an upholsterer.  Two years in, during a tea break from a particularly challenging chair, I was looking at the sheep in the fields surrounding my workshop and mused ‘they look like little footstools. Hmmmmmm…sheepskin covered footstools. Oh yes!’

I spent several months developing the idea and ensuring that every detail of the product is high quality.  The frames and legs are made by skilled craftsmen.  The sheepskin is always premium grade and predominantly from UK flocks.  I source the best upholstery materials and we upholster each Baa Stool using a mix of modern and traditional methods.  This is important because I want my customers to enjoy a product that is the very best it can possibly be.

Around this exciting product a group of talented, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals gathered to form 'Team Baa' and a Great Little British Business was born.

I started selling Baa Stools at local artisan markets and county shows and they quickly developed a following. I noticed that the sheepskin cover upholstered on the footstools made people stop in their tracks, look closer…then, inevitably, smile. This quickly became the overall aim of every new design… to make people smile when they walk into a room.
