Meet the Pouffekin — our pumpkin-inspired sheepskin pouffe, handmade in North Wales. Silky soft orange toned sheepskin, real leather stalk, and three sizes of seasonal comfort.
Guaranteed to make you smile all year round, the Pouffekin is our pumpkin-inspired sheepskin pouffe – a playful twist on luxurious comfort. Crafted from sumptuous velvety copper sheepskin with a gorgeous rusty orange hue, it instantly adds warmth, texture, and personality to your home.
Measures 45cm diameter and 25cm high.
Velvety sheepskin is the type used in luxury car manufacture and is super soft but also robust and hardwearing.
We couldn’t resist creating this smaller sibling of our Pumpouffe, and it’s quickly become a Baa Stool favourite. Complete with a real leather “stalk” handle, it’s easy to move around — whether you’re propping up your feet, adding an extra seat, or styling it as a quirky seasonal accent.
Handmade in North Wales, each Pouffekin is filled with soft sheepskin offcuts for ultimate comfort and finished with a zipped wool base.
From Halloween fun to year-round charm, this is a piece designed to delight. Bring home your Pouffekin today and enjoy a little luxury with a smile.

We source the highest quality grade sheepskin predominantly from flocks across the UK. Where we are unable to source a specific colour within the UK we import sheepskin from New Zealand. Sheep are not farmed for their skins and sheepskin is a by-product of the food industry.
Some of our stools require very basic assembly. We have a fully dedicated page to guide you on how to assemble your Baa Stool. Click on the link below to view our full guide.

Why Baa Stool?
In 2011 I left the corporate world, moved home to rural North Wales and retrained to be an upholsterer. Two years in, during a tea break from a particularly challenging chair, I was looking at the sheep in the fields surrounding my workshop and mused ‘they look like little footstools. Hmmmmmm…sheepskin covered footstools. Oh yes!’
I spent several months developing the idea and ensuring that every detail of the product is high quality. The frames and legs are made by skilled craftsmen. The sheepskin is always premium grade and predominantly from UK flocks. I source the best upholstery materials and we upholster each Baa Stool using a mix of modern and traditional methods. This is important because I want my customers to enjoy a product that is the very best it can possibly be.
Around this exciting product a group of talented, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals gathered to form ‘Team Baa’ and a Great Little British Business was born.
I started selling Baa Stools at local artisan markets and county shows and they quickly developed a following. I noticed that the sheepskin cover upholstered on the footstools made people stop in their tracks, look closer…then, inevitably, smile. This quickly became the overall aim of every new design… to make people smile when they walk into a room.
