A softly romantic heart-shaped cushion in velvety whisper pink sheepskin, handmade with sheepskin on both sides and generously filled for plump comfort. A rare one-off, just in time for Valentine’s.
The story
This piece is all about softness, in colour, texture and feeling.
Whisper pink is one of those shades we rarely get the chance to work with. It is gentle, warm and quietly romantic, and when it appears, we tend to hold onto it until the right moment. Valentine’s felt like exactly that.
Simple in shape and indulgent in material, this heart cushion is made entirely from velvety sheepskin, front and back, and filled with natural sheepskin trimmings to give it a beautifully plump, sink-in feel. It is a small gesture that brings warmth and affection into a space.
Perfect as a Valentine’s gift, but just as lovely as a year-round treat for yourself, this is a one-off piece made to be enjoyed slowly.

We source the highest quality grade sheepskin predominantly from flocks across the UK. Where we are unable to source a specific colour within the UK we import sheepskin from New Zealand. Sheep are not farmed for their skins and sheepskin is a by-product of the food industry.
Some of our stools require very basic assembly. We have a fully dedicated page to guide you on how to assemble your Baa Stool. Click on the link below to view our full guide.

Why Baa Stool?

In 2011 I left the corporate world, moved home to rural North Wales and retrained to be an upholsterer. Two years in, during a tea break from a particularly challenging chair, I was looking at the sheep in the fields surrounding my workshop and mused ‘they look like little footstools. Hmmmmmm…sheepskin covered footstools. Oh yes!’
I spent several months developing the idea and ensuring that every detail of the product is high quality. The frames and legs are made by skilled craftsmen. The sheepskin is always premium grade and predominantly from UK flocks. I source the best upholstery materials and we upholster each Baa Stool using a mix of modern and traditional methods. This is important because I want my customers to enjoy a product that is the very best it can possibly be.
Around this exciting product a group of talented, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals gathered to form 'Team Baa' and a Great Little British Business was born.
I started selling Baa Stools at local artisan markets and county shows and they quickly developed a following. I noticed that the sheepskin cover upholstered on the footstools made people stop in their tracks, look closer…then, inevitably, smile. This quickly became the overall aim of every new design… to make people smile when they walk into a room.
